Yes. Your first project is free forever. Pro ($9/mo or $90/yr) adds more projects, screenshots, analytics, boosted visibility and a private contact form. Pro+ ($29/mo or $290/yr) is for serial makers and small studios.

Do I need to write anything to list my project?

Accepted Answer

No. Paste your URL and MakerShake auto-generates your profile — name, tagline, description, favicon, preview image, category and starter tags. You can edit anything, but nothing is required.

What kinds of projects belong here?

Accepted Answer

Vibe-coded apps, indie side projects, AI tools, no-code builds, weekend experiments and small SaaS. If you made it, it belongs here — code, no-code, or a mix.

Can I edit my profile after publishing?

Anytime. Your dashboard lets you change every field, upload screenshots, toggle maker signals and update the URL.

How does the contact form work?

Pro and Pro+ makers get a private contact form on their profile — visitors write a message and it relays to your inbox without exposing your email. On the Free plan you can add your email as a plain mailto link instead.

Pro and Pro+ makers can toggle two signals: Available for work tells people they can hire you or commission a build, and Available to remix tells visitors the idea is open to be reimagined, adapted for a new niche, or localized.

Projects are ranked by relevance to the current view, community signals like upvotes and saves, freshness, and listing completeness. Pro gets boosted rotation and Pro+ gets priority indexing.

Yes. Bookmark any project and it lands in your Saved collection, which is searchable, filterable and sortable. You can group saves into your own collections.

Yes — when two makers follow each other, a private 1:1 chat unlocks in the dashboard. Mutual follows only, so it never becomes a cold-DM inbox.

Every URL is screened before it goes live — address hygiene, DNS, reachability, redirects, malware feeds and AI content classification. Live listings are re-scanned regularly and suspended automatically if a site turns bad.
